Utilization Review (all markets)

The purpose of the utilization review program is to partner with you to safeguard against unnecessary and inappropriate medical care rendered.  Medical services and/or records are reviewed for medical necessity, quality of care, appropriateness of place of service and length of stay (inpatient hospital).  Advanced Review has on staff a team of highly; skilled unbiased Register Nurses to perform the utilization reviews.  Our nurses are experienced in providing utilization review services for inpatient stays, surgery, outpatient treatments such as: chiropractic care, pain management, physical therapy, durable medical equipment (DME) imaging services, etc.  Advanced Review’s nurses will convert complicated medical terminology into easy to understand terms to assist our clients in understanding an injury and any potential future ramifications the injury may cause.
